trunk tension spring rods for 2nd gen camaro...... how do they get there spring back? Empty trunk tension spring rods for 2nd gen camaro...... how do they get there spring back?

having trouble installing a set of those suport rods and having them correctly pop open the trunk and support the weight of the spoiler. any one know?
